The flooded sinkhole from the previous post? Well it still hasn't drained and East Tennessee finally got its winter. The overnight pond became the overnight skating rink. An
iceskating rink with obstacles. A coworker commented that it would make a good game of bumper hockey, like bumper pool, but with more broken shins.

Driving to work I came across a sinkhole beside the road which had filled up with water from the heavy rains we've been having for the last week. It was enough to make me go back
home and get my camera. I love the look of the slightly rippled water between the bare trees. It looks as if a swamp just popped up out-of-place on someone's lawn.

These I took one morning as I woke up to find a heavy fog had rolled in. Its a nice byproduct of the schizophrenic winters East Tennessee has, that some times the temperature will
swing from 32 degrees F to 60 degrees and all the cold water vapor gets stuck hanging in the air until almost noon.
